Balancing Chemical Equations
« on: May 02, 2010, 11:02:28 PM »
I have been having troubles balancing a couple of equations because they do not seem to ever end.
Given: AlCl3 + Na2CO3
How do I solve? I figured out that it ends up being: Al2CO3 + NaCl
I'm not sure that I have that correct but if that is, when I solve for it, it seems that the balancing never ends.
Help please!

AlCl3 + Na2CO3 --> Al2(CO3)3 + NaCl
