Equilibrium experiment
« on: May 11, 2010, 08:09:00 AM »
Hi,

I have been asked to conduct an experiment in the lab and write a few thousand word report on it. I have decided to undertake an equilibrium experiment (as we have been learning about this unit recently) but I am unsure on how to make it more in depth. I can do simple experiments on Le Chatelier's principle, such as changing the temperature, concentration etc but I don't see this as a very in depth experiment. Does anyone have an ideas or would be able to offer me some guidance as to what I could do for this experiment to make it more academic?

Hiii,

when you meant that you want to make it more academic, do you want it to be a unique kind of experiment?

cuz from the looks of it, you seemed to have covered equilibrium already...maybe you want to apply this to real world examples such as industrial production of ammonia, etc. and how they use equilibrium to make more products...or decaffeinating of coffee beans???

how does that sound?
