Hydrolysis of NaBH4
« on: May 16, 2010, 09:24:59 PM »
According to my worksheet NaBH4 can be converted to NaH2BO3 and H2 gas.
I can see how it can be converted to NaBO2 and H2, but I have no idea how you end up with NaH2BO3
Can anyone help? I've been doing way too much Organic chem, I have almost no experience in inorganics.

Just one water molecule more.
