Need a stabilizer
« on: June 04, 2010, 05:39:09 AM »
Sodium chloroacetate is highly soluble in water. And at neutral pH and in water, the sodium chloroacetate tends to convert to glycolic acid if kept for a longer period. This fact is established by the presence of NaCl in the sodium monochloroacetate solution and also by other tests.

Is there any stabilizer which can inhibit this conversion of sodium monochloroacetate to glycolic acid ?
