« on: August 06, 2005, 08:39:27 AM »
*delete me* 1.Is thymol solid or liquid at room temperature?
No idea, i guess that its solid because based from what iv read it describes as colorless translucent crystals.
2.what are the formula, molecular weight, and color of lead azide?
I hav found 1 in the internet that its molecular weight is 65.01amu. but im not quite sure if its azide alone or lead azide..

I would be very much appreciate your ideas. Thanks & God Bless! ;D

the azide anion is N33-

that 65.01 amu for 1 mole of lead azide must be wrong. lead has a Mr of around 207 alone.

Lead azide is: Pb(N3)2.  The azide anion has a -1 charge on it.  It is generally white crystals.  Don't screw with this stuff: it's a sensitive primary high explosive.
