We are coating a polypyrrole film on a pencil graphite electrode by anodizing of pyrrole. The conducting polymer is doped with a metal complexing agent such that EBT (Eriochrome black T). The the resulting electrode is conditioned in ) 0.01 M Ca2+ solution. Then a calibretion plot for Ca2+ was prepared and and we wre unable to got a Nernstian responce. Mant metal ions and many ligands were tried. But were not sucessful What are the aspects should be considerd to achieve bettr results.
