The elementary isothermal gas-phase reaction
   A-----> B  +  C

is carried out in a moving-bed reactor. The catalyst sintering by second order decay. The moving bed contains 100 kg of catalyst and the catalyst flow rate through the bed is adjusted so that the exiting catalytic activity is one-fourth of the entering activity. The reaction is represented by first order rate law with the following specific reaction rate.
-r’A=0.1(dm3/g cat. s)CA
Pure A enters at a volumetric flow rate of 3.75 dm3/ s. What conversion can be expected?
