MedArray's
PermSelect PDMS silicone hollow fiber membrane modules separate gases from liquid streams or other gases. Silicone is a dense (non-porous) membrane, which operates on differences of permeability in the membrane (solution-diffusion), rather than on molecular weight through pores. The membrane will not "wet out" when used as a membrane contactor and is resistant to fouling.
Applications include:
- degassing water of O2 or CO2
- humidifying or dehumidifying gas streams
- VOC removal or concentration from liquid
Multiple sizes are available, from lab scale to production.
