Chemical powder for model making?
« on: September 12, 2010, 07:31:23 AM »
Hello,

I am looking to find a powder that I can use in model making. I will use it make textures for my scale model scenery.

The chemical needs to be cheaply available in powder form, nontoxic, insoluble and must be able to be dyed/colored.

Ideally it would have a translucent look to it.

I know this is not a typical question for this forum but thought you guys would have the best knowledge of various chemicals!

 :)

Thanks!
