I am currently have some studies on tricalcium phosphate Ca
3(PO
4)
2, a calcium salt which is insoluble in water, but will dissolve in diluted acid. Will the phosphate in the salt have effect to the environment (eg. eutrophication) if it is still in the salt form?
What will be the best way for me to test for the phosphate content in tricalcium phosphate mixed in some unknown materials?
Thanks
