what is the mechanism of alkene bromination by Cu(II)Br2 & alimina (Al2O3),will i get dibromo product is this electrophillic addition??

My guess is that it's probably an anti addition of two bromine atoms across the double bond and alumina is a catalyst. The product would be a vic-dibromide. The most common mechanism that could be followed here is that involving a cyclic bromonium ion intermediate.
