Help with rate of Formation problem
« on: October 11, 2010, 05:09:33 AM »
Hello, having problems with the (b) part of this question...the (a) part was easy enough.

Ques:(a) The rate of formation of c in the reaction 2A + B -> 3c + 2D is 3.5mol/L.s. Calculate rates of reaction for A and b and rates of formation for D.

(b)  Consider the above reaction. If the initial concentration of A is 0.30M and 0.40M for B what is the concentration of A,B and D if the concentration of c after 20 minutes was found to be 0.10M?

Any help to point me in the right direction will be appreciated.
