triflic acid solution
« on: October 13, 2010, 08:44:01 PM »
Hi all,

i want to make  solution of triflic acid in anhydrous solvent (hexanes, ether or THF...), but i can't find any reference or paper describing which solvent is best.
i know it can be made in polar solvents (DMSO, DMF) but i want to avoid them. something more apolar is need for my reaction.

do any of you had done any triflic acid solution before?

thanks
