Quantum Atom Theory
« on: October 21, 2010, 07:21:52 PM »
Okay we started the Chapter in our general chem class about the quantum atom and atomic emission spectrums and electron configuration. Its not that i just don't get it. I just feel like having a threaded discussion on here with people who are willing to be proactive and help me out with understanding this abstract concept would really help me out. So if you have any input please feel free to help me out. Remember that this is general chem so I am just being introduced to the basic idea and the initial properties so im no expert and if you go throwing in big terms without an explanation i will probably get lost. :)

But yea for anyone willing to begin this just start from the beginning and I would prefer if we discussed it in order (like not skipping from the intro to the basic idea straight to electron config ) but explain it step by step. Thanks for any help :)
