What's the product of these two reactions?

For the first one, it's somewhat like the reaction between an alcohol and SOCl2 under pyridine, which shows a SN2 substitution mechanism. but I have no idea what product it would give by applying SO2, is this two case related?
And for the second one, which is apparently a radical reaction, I suppose the first step would be the cleavage of the C-I bond, leaving a radical electron upon the ring, but I also have no idea what's the next react...
Any hit is OK.

For the first one i have no idea, are you sure that is SO2,not SO3?
the second one , you are right. It's a radical reaction, the radical formed then reacts with HSnBu3 to give an alkane.

I have a suspicion the first reaction is indeed supposed to use SO
3
, in which case you should look up the name Parikh-Doering.
