melting point of a substance
« on: November 10, 2010, 05:02:51 PM »
Which factors affect the melting point of a substance?
Possible answers:
A. cohesive force
B. temperature
C. molecular motion
D. molecular Structure
E. all of the above

My answer is A cohesive force. The stronger the cohesive force, the hight the melting point.

But maybe E. All of the above, because molecular motion and molecular structure affect the melting point

Is it A or E? Thank you

molecular motion and temperature mean exactly the same thing.

right off the bat id pick all of the above.
