sodium Nitrate (NaNO3) + water (H2O) ---> NaOH (Sodium Hydroxide) + Nitric acid(HNO3)
This is the equation that i got from the web on the reaction between sodium nitrate and water. However, wouldn't NaOH and HNO3 react with each other as soon as they are formed to give the original reactants? In that case can we call them the products of the reaction?
