Reaction involving triethlyamine and dichlorocarbene

My professor proposed the following questions in lecture:
1.What UNSTABLE product (D) is formed in the reaction of triethylamine and dichlorocarbene?
2.The previous product will undergo an intramolecular E2 to form (E) and ethylene?
3. The unknown product (?), reacts with water to form another unknown compound (F)?

What are the three products formed (D),(E) and (F)?
I have mulled this over for a day or two now but can figure this out, maybe I'm thinking to hard?

The rule is that you do not use these forums for others to do your homework.  Also, although it may be possible to think too little, it is impossible to think too hard !!

Suggest you consult,

(1) any good organic chemistry text,

(2) since you are computer/internet savvy, search the WWW.
