I am confused about one experiment. does not know what exactly they mean?
could you guys help me out.

'Deoxyfructosazine (5 g.) and 3 g. (CO2H)2 in 130 ml. H2O was hydrogenated over Pd-C 3 hrs. at 20°, "
does it mean atmosphere? otherwise I do not know how much pressure I need to apply.

Hydrogen is generated in situ with oxalic acid. You don't need pressure.
