chemical equation problem.
« on: January 21, 2011, 06:20:12 PM »
Hello folks-
Could someone please guide me through this problem? Thanks!

If you begin with 4.5 mg of Tc metal, how much NaTcO4 can be made? What mass of NaOH (in grams) is required to convert all of the HTcO4 into NaTcO4?

Tc metal = technetium.
molar mass = 98 g/mol

4.5 mg of Tc = .00045 grams.
