Silver Crystals!
« on: December 19, 2010, 10:52:19 PM »
I designed a chemical procedure to obtain silver crystals a year ago. I want to share some pics about the result I obtained.

Soft and beautiful  ;D

Silver is a metal.
Stereograms of the 32 crystallographic point groups: little bike wheels of cold, hard, pure rationality.

In this reaction some silver is formed.

Looks like cement silver--obtained quite easily from AgNO3 solution (with some free nitric acid) to which a copper plate or wire is added.
Neither flask nor beaker.

I like it. I have made copper crystals just by having a copper(II) salt and aluminum.

That's awesome. Sometimes it hurts when I pee and that stuff comes out.
