I've been trying to figure this out for the last couple of hours by looking at experimental results. Does anyone know the order of increasing oxidizing power for N, P, As, Sb, Bi in their +3 oxidation states, and then the order of their oxidizing power for the same elements in their +5 oxidation states. Is there a way to figure it out from Latimer or Frost diagrams?
So far, I've figured out that for the +3 states the order is P<As<N
For the +5 states, I know that Bi has the highest oxidizing power.
