Calculate Ksp of Calcium Hydroxide
« on: March 02, 2011, 10:27:53 PM »
Can someone double check my work :(?
Info:
Equivalence point at

29.38mL of .0506 M HCl
35.00mL of Ca(OH)2

First I have to find Concentration of OH-

(.0506 M)(.02938 L) = 1.49E-3 mols of HCl

because 1.49E-3 mols of H+ ion we added to react with OH-, we can say mols of HCl = mols of OH-

(1.49E-3 mols of OH-)/(.035L) = .0425 M OH-

Is that correct ? ^^^ I know how to do Ksp if that is correct

I didn't check the numbers but there seems to be no problem with the process.
