I'm a little confused as to the difference between dehydration and condensation reactions. The question I am answering requires me to explain various terms, illustrated by an example. The last two terms are dehydration and condensation, listed separately.
Now, I was under the impresion that these two reactions were one and the same. Perhaps one is the removal of water as a molecule of H2O while the other is a removal of water which is then absorbed into another molecule?
Thanks in advance for any help offered.
