I am trying to prove an unknown substance is Benzyl Acetate via using a known reaction that yields it. I am however stugiling with calculating what specific amounts of each substance (either reactant or products) would be needs to create a specific amount or use a specific amount to create the end result. Would somene please help with this? I have basic understanding of mol equations, yet I get to points where the amount of moles I have for a substance just doesn,t make sense. Ie, I have a compound with x mols of Carbon but in reality has y etc. Thankyou all!
