Conc. sulphuric acid vs dilute sulphuric acid
« on: April 03, 2011, 02:14:47 PM »
why concentrated sulphuric acid more likely to absorb moisture from air than its dilute form?

On the other hand, what is the difference between the term "hygroscopic" and "deliquescent"?? in chemistry?

Thanks!

Concentrated H2SO4 is used for this purpose. Why?
Write down reaction of this acid with water.
