Naked Eye Detection Of Fluoride in Urine Samples
« on: April 16, 2011, 03:26:07 AM »
We did several tests for the naked eye detection of fluoride in spiked urine samples and the method applied for the analysis were  Test methodologies looked:
S No   Methodologies
1   Zirconium Alizarine reagent method
2   Complexone method
3   SPADNS method
4   Eriochrome cyanine R  & AlCl3  method
5   Sodium bisephenyl( Organic halogen) method
6   Zirconium-EDTA complex and novel heicynanine dye method
7   Triphenyltinchloride & Xray fluorescence determination
8   Aluminium,NEDA,EDTA Method

The problem is none of these methods are working for urine samples .In case of water testing these chemicals give some results but not the appropriate color differentiation was observed for the different concentration of Fluoride.

Our objective is, naked eye detection of low level of fluoride  in original urine samples.
Is there any method available by which we can quick detect the low fluoride level in urine sample .
