You will have to be more specific. I suppose you mean chlorinated or brominated solvents - Which one of these exactly are you thinking about? Personally I have no experience whatsoever with brominated solvents, and to my knowledge they are not very widely used in synthesis. Also, what is it that you want to dissolve?

How do you define better? Safer? Greener? More versatile? Easier to remove? Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound?
