Fractional Distillation Lab

Ok, I just conducted this lab to distil an unknown "beer" sample to whiskey.

I started with 25 mL of this substance in an Erlenmeyer flask and then heated the flat bottom for 20 minutes using the lab burner. With the lab apparatus in between, I marked the rate at which drops of liquid were formed in the beaker at the bottom.

My results were 10.2 mL at the bottom and 12.3 mL left in the flask. I concluded that the "whiskey-like" container is the bottom one. Is this because I set the lab burner to 75-80 degrees celsius and ethanol boils and evaporates around 78-79 celsius?
Also, I need to find the percent alcohol composition in the original solution. I know that 2.5 mL of liquid evaporated during the experiment. So 10.2/25 is definitely wrong. Can someone give me a hint on finding this?

it doesnt matter what the lab burner (bunsen burner u mean?) to, its just the rate at which heat is supplied. so if u had heated it too long, water may have been evaporated as well.
