Hi

I have a question in my chemical catalysis notes about deriving the rate law for a mechanism (which I have done) and the question then says, "and correlate the microscopic and macroscopic rate constants". I have done a bit of research but have not been able to find a description of these terms. Does anybody know a good and simple description of these two terms, any help will be appreciated.
