Sugars that undergo mutarotation?

Can someone please tell me how to figure out if a sugar undergoes mutarotation? What am i looking for...? I have attached an example... I just don't understand

Let's start with the basics:

1. What do you understand by the term "mutarotation"?
2. Can you draw a mechanism for the process?

Consider the answer to 2. and you can see which sugars will undergo mutarotation.
