« on: August 06, 2011, 09:45:48 AM »
hello,

can you tell me please software used for administrating analytical chemistry and microbiology labs, ie:
- registering the incoming speciments with their relative data such as client, date, id, etc
- entering the results of the analysed parameters
- creating and printing certificates of analysis
etc

and generally do you know any good online resources, books, software, etc, for administrating analytical labs

thanks

I believe a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is what you're thinking of.  The wiki page

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laboratory_information_management_system

has some information on them and vendors of specific software.
