Peptide Solid Phase Synthesis
« on: August 21, 2011, 12:21:14 AM »
Hi Guys,

I'm synthesizing some peptides (8mers).
I'm using a microwave assisted synthesizer.
At the moment I'm trying to synthesize HOOC-ARCSTGGK-NH2 peptide.
My question is if somebody of you ever sythesize such a peptide. The issue is a very low yield. I'm wondering if the problem could be the C-S coupling because both have huge side-protection groups (steric hinderance?).

Thank you.
