Hi Guys, I am currently working on a Plant Design which converts plastic to fuels for our Class.
In the pyrolysis stage (540 deg. C), fly ash is entrained in the gases. I need to remove the fly ash/dust/coke since I will be using a hydrocracker afterwards. I recognize that using a cyclone would bring in some air and would cause flame since the pyrolysis gases are already beyond their autoignition temperature. Moreover, electrostatic precipitators have certain temperature limits (~100 deg. C).
Do you guys have any suggestions on what I can do with this problem? Thank you very much
