I have this reaction CH2I2-----> I2 + CH2
I need to measure the iodine

I can only irradiate 2 ml of (diiodomentan in hexane) , and to use the iodometry, I need a big amount of solution. (can I use iodometry method in organic solution???, (my solvent is hexane not water)

 Is there any possiblity to use another method to determine the iodine in small amount (2ml)

I just have one sample (2ml) to irradiate many different times.
