Say if these three were answered already,
1. Calculate the mean volume of NaOH solution used for the titrations, and then calculate the molarity of the NaOH solution.
2. Calculate the number of moles of HCl added to the volumetic flask to react with the calcium hydroxide
3. Calculate the mean number of moles of NaOH from the titrations.
Basically, these are questions from my lab and im stuck on this particular question:
Calculate the number of moles of hydroxide present in your original sample of SOLID calcium hydroxide.
For a quick recap of the lab, we measured out Calcium hydroxide, put it in a volumetric flask with the aid of water, and then added 25.00 mL of HCl to help dissolve the milky water. then we titrated it wih NaOH
My attempt was to get the equation of HCl and calcium hydroxide, then taking the concentration of the HCl and its volume measured from the pipette to get my moles of HCl, and then used mole ratio to get it in terms of Ca(OH)2 but i ended up with way too much mass. So if someone could give me a hand, that be great
