Bromium Electron Configuration

Bromium has 35 electrons, so shouldn't the electron configuration be:

1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 4s2 3d10 4p5

Why is it

1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p5 4s2 4p5?

The bromine ground state electron configuration is
1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 4s2 3d10 4p5
