Please help me with this molarity problem.
« on: October 02, 2011, 08:57:55 PM »
If 25.0 mL of a 0.750 M Pb(ClO3)2 solution and 150.0 mL of a 0.125 M Na2SO4 solution were used in the reaction, then what was the concentration of sodium ions in solution AFTER the reaction?

Here's all I can do:
Pb(ClO3)2 + Na2SO4 --> PbSO4 + (ClO3)2 Na2

I'm really confused and stressed. I really appreciate your help. Thank you very much in advance.

Check the formula of sodium chlorate.

Check the solubility of the salts involved.

Determine moles of sodium in solution.

Determine volume of solution.

Calculate concentration.
