I know for C and H-NMR, that higher electron density near the nuclei means a more downfield shift (greater +ppm). But for 11B-NMR, the chemical shift of the signal in Me2B(ethane) is 86.8, and for Me2B(ethene), it's 56.4. Shouldn't the ethene species be higher considering there is higher electron density?
