How would this mechanism work?

Ok so i've posted a mechanism i've proposed, not sure how the Water will hydrolze to produce the alcohol compound!

you can start with the idea of O of H2O  attacking with its lone pair on the electropositive C atom .Are you sure of that methyl removal?

Oh Im so sorry its not a methyl thats a Hydrogen! I forgot to add that in sorry!

I believe either SN1 or SN2 would do the job, probably. What about the stereochemistry on that C?
