Hello, my friends
I have a question regarding electron levels energy.
I'm in doubt if in Hydrogen atom, for example, the energy between level 1 and 2 (n=1 => n=2) is the same for another element's atom.
In my point of view, because the attraction energy from the nucleous is different (due to different proton qty.) and also because the forces originated in the interaction between electrons is also different (due to different electron qty.), the energy values between levels change with the element.
I'm asking this because I couldn't find any clear info about this. I also found several formulas but I'm not sure which one should be used to calculate energy values for any level in any atom. A clarification about this would be great too!
Thank you
