Calculating correct mass for complex formation
« on: February 01, 2012, 03:59:54 PM »
I'm a bit confused on exactly what I should be doing here. This is for an undergraduate 300 level inorganic chemistry lab.
1) Calculate the correct mass of H2salen needed (MW=268.3 g/mol) to form a 1:1 complex with CuCl2 using 2 mL of a 0.03 M CuCl2 solution.

I think if I'm pointed in the right direction not sure what route I should to figure this out.
