Difference between propyl and propanyl?

I gave the name for a compound as 1-chloro-2-(2-methylpropyl)cyclobut-1-ene, but the answer has propanyl instead of propyl...could someone please explain this to me?

propyl can be propanyl or propenyl. You have to precise.
