. Anyways, the question and my solution are here, Please tell me where am I wrong?
Q: CsCl has BCC structure in which Cs atoms occupy Body Center and Cl the corner sites. If density is 3.99 g/cc , Calculate :
a) The length of edge of Unit Cell
b) The distance b/w Cs+ and Cl- ions
We have, $$\rho =\frac{Z \cdot M}{a^3 \cdot N_A}$$
Putting values as Rho = 3.99 g/cc , M = 168.5 g (Z =1) , N
A the usual Avogadro Number, We get
a = 412 pm ?
Is it correct?
