Can someone please explain what a rock salt structure is? An example to go along with the explanation would be great. Thank you.

ok so basically both atoms in the unit cell form the FCC. So, if I'm asked if CaCl2 can have the rock salt structure, it can? Because almost all alkali halides have this structure (according to the source)?
