Help with chemistry lab
« on: April 01, 2012, 12:18:27 PM »
I'm doing an enthalpy of reaction lab right now, and I'm confused on the questions. So what I did in the lab was to take the temperature every minute and for 13 minutes my data came up as 24, 23.2, 24, 23.3, 23.2, 23.1, 23.1, 27.2, 27.7, 27.1, 28.1, 28.3, and 28.4 degrees Celsius.

Some numbers that the lab gave me is 0.166 M CuSO4, and it says that specific heat= 1 cal/g-deg

1. What is the energy released in Joules
2. What is the change in enthalpy in KJ/mol
3. What is the change in free energy. ( use exponent value of E)
4. The change in entropy.
5. keq=

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to show your attempts at solving the question to receive help. This is a forum policy.

Your post is so ambiguous and lacks so much information there is no way anyone will be able to help.
