First, does anyone know of a good place to purchase a pt:sn (any % ratio) catalyst on either al203 or activiated carbon as a support (prefer al203). SIAL dosen't have pt:sn and a lot of the other websites of companies like honeywell and basf are terrible to navigate...
 
And...

I just can not find a good article exploring the kinetics of hydrogenation using pt catalyst vsersus a pt:sn catalyst... ( i hear pt:sn is more efficient). If anyone has a link or title/author it would be appreciated, if its even out there.

Can't say I've heard of Pt:Sn as a catalyst. I hope someone else has more info for you. If you do learn more, please share.
