Thermodynamics Question about otto cycle
« on: April 18, 2012, 01:24:42 AM »
I have no idea on where to start doing this question.  :'(

The amount of fuel introduced into a spark-ignition engine is used in part to control the power produced by the engine. Gasoline produces approximately 42,000 kJ/kg when burned with air in a spark-ignition engine.

Develop a schedule for gasoline consumption and maximum cycle temperature versus power production for an Otto cycle with a compression ratio of 8.

It has nothing to do with the General Chemistry.

Besides, you have to show your attempts at solving the question to receive help. This is a forum policy.
