angle in peptide
« on: April 24, 2012, 02:10:26 PM »
Hi,why peptide bond angle is not 120 degrees and peptide bond does has sp2 hybridization. It is approximately?Or why?For example between N and H in peptide bond is 114 degrees. How is it possible?
Thanks a lot
EDIT:And if in peptide bond is not equal 120 degrees, doesn t mean it,that peptide bond is not planar?Because in space, stuffs that don have 120 degrees, cannot be in same plane.. ???
