Titration for NaOH determination - newb needs help
« on: April 26, 2012, 10:03:06 AM »
As I understand it KHP can be used for acid-base titrations and there is precedence in our lab for using it for determining acid concentrations, but I need to do the reverse.

I was hoping to use an autotitrator, but what do I use for the standardization of my titrant? Can I use KHP for determination of NaOH?

I know this is a complete newb question, but I am a newb at these titrations.

Thanks Borek. I actually checked that site before posting (got it from your signature). I didn't see that page, must have missed it. Very helpful!  :)
